Fiverr Seller Deleted Messages and Disappeared – No Refund or Response

From Fiverr 11/13/25Your order has been canceledYour payment has been credited to your Fiverr balance and can be used or refunded at any time.My response to their reply that they are crediting my Fiverr account, which I will never use again.I have now requested twice that the refund be issued to the original form of payment (my credit card). This should not require multiple follow-ups.
If my full email had been properly reviewed, the request would have been clear.As of today, there is no refund appearing as “returned to original payment method” in my account.
This is unacceptable and unnecessarily time-consuming.Please confirm today that the refund is being processed back to my credit card. If this is not resolved, I will proceed with disputing the charges and sharing my experience publicly, as this ongoing issue has been extremely frustrating.Thank you, and I expect a prompt response.ABSURDITY
I was contacted on LinkedIn by Kristi (Clinco) Leggett, whose profile listed Senior Clinical Project Manager | Program Lead | 20+ yrs in Global Trials | Vendor Oversight | Oncology & Multi-Therapeutic Expert | Talent Acquisition & Team Development. She reviewed my résumé and referred me directly to Fiverr seller Nancy Walters (@nancy_walters01) for résumé optimization.
I placed the order on Oct 29 2025 for $87.90 (Order #FO521E1386C85), which promised two AI-optimized résumés.
The seller initially quoted ~$1,500, then lowered the price to $80 through a custom offer. She marked the order complete on Nov 3 while still messaging for clarifications on Nov 8. During that exchange, earlier messages disappeared, and her profile later showed no longer available.
I filed a refund request through Fiverrs Resolution Center and have received no acknowledgment or refund.
I have since filed a BBB complaint. I hope Fiverr strengthens oversight and more carefully vets its marketplace sellers, and that LinkedIn reviews accounts that initiate unsolicited, off-platform service referrals, to ensure greater accountability and protect other consumers from unfinished or mishandled transactions.
User's recommendation: VET ANY RECOMMENDATIONS OR SELLERS PRIOR TO HIRING.
Monetary Loss: $88.
Preferred solution: Full refund.
Fiverr Pros: In theory it should be a positive, Professional resource for buyers.
Fiverr Cons: No customer service number no vetting of their accepted sellers.
